The John Edward Appreciation Pin
In Appreciation of our loved ones.     In Memory of

November 20, 1960 - December 30, 1960

Children are a gift from God. Sometimes in the course of their journey here events happen that are  beyond our control. Laurie had problems that the doctors could not fix. Although only here for a short while, she left an impression on all our hearts.  As time goes on we learn cures for these problems or ways to prevent them from happening. Life is precious, no matter how long or short, everyone has a purpose. Laurie will not be forgotten.

The Anniversary rose - In Memory of our loved one. For every year that Laurie has passed.

Merry Christmas 2004

This Christmas season we join Laurie in wishing our family a happy holiday.
Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

From Shirley's facebook page.

A person that loses a partner is called a widow. A child who has lost their parent is called an orphan.
But their is no word to describe a parent that loses a child, because the loss is like no other.
Think of someone you know or love who has lost a baby or a child & take a few minutes to remember and honor their beautiful angels ♥ ♥ ♥

in memory of Laurie Ann Walmer...R.I.P

An Angel in the book of life wrote down our baby's birth and whispered as she closed the book ' Too beautiful for earth '

In memory of our daughter Laurie Ann Walmer

Nov. 20, 2011
Laurie Ann celebrates her birthday today. 51, ten years younger than I. Wish she could have stayed around, it would have been wonderful watching her grow and what a wonderful woman she would have become. As I learn more about life and the abilities we have and don't have, I appreciate more. My ability to share my feelings with the world through these webpages and I know our loved ones are watching over us.
Happy Birthday Laurie Ann.
Say hi to my mom and dad for me.

Our Aunt Olive (your mom's sister) found your gravesite (the years have taken off the name and date but the plate is still there) She is making a steppingstone for you.
I put this light and flowers there. Your family thinks of you Laurie. We'll see you in Heaven when its our time. I am sure of this. Say hi to my mom and dad for me.

Stopping by to wish you a Happy Birthday.  Although gone from this Earth your memory lives on and we celebrate this day.

December 30, 2013

Stopping by to let Laurie know we are thinking of her today. Its been 53 years since she left this Earth. A lifetime and although she hasn't been here in physical form, I know she has been with us through our memories of her.  Shirley and Larry are on their way to Florida to visit Laurie's older brother Larry and spend the winter in warmer weather. She is watching over them as they travel and I know they are thinking of her on this day.
Love you Laurie

Our cousin Sheila and Aunt Olive went to the cemetery today. We went by your grave but the stone was gone. Your mom and dad are in Florida with brother Larry and family. Olive told your mom about the stone being  gone. Hopefully when they come back they will get you a real headstone.
Thinking of you Laurie.

Thinking of you on your day Laurie.
I  was going to be 11 when you were born. I am an only child and the though of a little girl cousin, a baby, that I could hold and love and play with excited me. Yea I had your brother's to play with, but they were boys.  Not as much fun. and a girl you can dress up. God knows how much your family loves you and knew that life would have been hard for you. But although you are not here physically, we know in our hearts that you are here and sharing our memories. We love you for that.
Happy Birthday cousin
