We lost a warrior for Christ, but I'm sure he was all smiles as he heard his Father say, well done my good and faithful servant.

Though never had chance to meet major, I felt I got to know him though his caregiver, Maggie. though the years I also learned a lot about the salvation army that didn't know.
The SA goes beyond kettles. I was hoping to meet him this spring. But a higher power had his own plan for major. you were a good man, will miss hearing about you.

WALTER'S FAMILY & MAGGIE - I am so sorry to hear of the loss of our beloved Walter. I have known him over the years we spent at NOVA CARE in the hot water therapy pool. He was an outstanding Christian with a strong love of God & his caring ways touched many people over the years at the Salvation Army, etc. You all have my deepest sympathy over the loss of your beloved father/ cherished friend. He is happy now as he is with his beloved wife smiling down on all of us. May God bless you all at this difficult time. With deepest sympathy-
