It was good to see everyone that came to pay their respects. Carol said they were playing your 80's music.

I saw Tim and Joe and Loren there. Rick Becker came and talked with me. I couldn't stay long because Lei Ann had to go to work, but I was glad I went.  I saw Bruce coming in as we were leaving.  Mike was making sure everyone knew there was coffee in the other room.  People were there from your high school class. (I saw the registry book that they signed)

You had on a TIE.  You looked good, (I know I know people always stand there and say how good someone looks but in your case... its true)  Last time I saw you, you needed a shave and a hair cut.  Well they cleaned you up real good.

We can't miss you enough.

November 15, 2018
Today your lovely wife Carol joined you in Heaven. I know that was a wonderful reunion for you.  She will be missed by us here on Earth and your son Mike.

My last visit to Rich, we talked about years ago when Erie PC Distribution was "the future".  Time have changed and we moved on but still kept in touch. I was surprised in my turn of events, but Rich hadn't changed a bit. lol Less mobile due to his illnesses but still Rich. My prayers are for Carol and Mike and the emotions they are feeling. Rich is reunited with his parents and brother and son. What a joyous event that is. Say hi to my parents for me Rich I'll be there when my time comes.

My good friend and past employee of Computer Discount Center, Rich Olson passed away this morning after about 15 years of heart problems.
He sent me many emails of funny, serious, and special events that I passed on to you. What a bright mind and understanding of the computer business and especially networking. When Adelphia came into Erie providing high speed internet, Computer Discount Center was the first business to offer it to businesses and individuals. Rich saw email problems and helped Adelphia's engineers to properly set the system up.
What a mind he had.
He was truly a nice person and friend that I have lost.
